One bit of news in advance of the Field of Dreams Game tonight: Alfonso Rivas has joined the Cubs as the 27th man for the game. Yes, you get a 27th man for the game, much like a double-header. Hey, the more players that get to experience the event the better.

There will be a whole lotta Cubs star power at the game tonight:

Cubs Hall of Fame players Billy Williams, Andre Dawson, Ryne Sandberg, Lee Smith and Fergie Jenkins will be attending tonight along with former Cubs Kerry Wood and WS MVP Ben Zobrist, among others. Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr. as well.
